PINTXO PEOPLE - el espiritu de España - in the heart of Brighton! Inspired contemporary cuisine direct from the barrios.

We opened PINTXOpeople after being inspired by the many incredible bars and eateries in Barcelona, which included authentic rustic local tapas bars, and innovative incredible neuvo Spanish dining restaurants, serving modern catalan cuisine.  In our beautiful Edwardian  building on Western Road in Brighton we are able to bring you a bit of both. 

On the ground floor our modern Spanish café bar serves  superior, traditional tapas and pintxos from 10am till very late every day. Our PINTXO first floor restaurant serves exciting contemporary Spanish cuisine, fine dining made for sharing and  hosts our award winning cocktail bar.

 The tapas experience is driven by the pleasure of sharing food with friends. Tapas is about how you eat food, rather than what you eat .  Jason Fendick MD comments "Our love of this social dining style and the amazing foods of Spain inspired us to open PINTXOpeople. We hope it brings to life the feel and atmosphere of some of the many amazing cafes and restaurants we visited in Spain."

Our philosophy is one of respect for the innate qualities of the ingredients, a real passion for the culinary art and a genuine desire to satisfy our guests. The bottom line of PINTXOpeople is unpretentiousness: good quality fresh fare prepared quickly, cheerfully and in a straightforward way.
